Re: [cobalt-users] RaQ3: spam filters and Virus scanner with Openwebmail?

Tony,

You can use the Bassi Mail scanner package to scan your email for viruses, it's available from:
http://www.firstwebspace.com/raq/RAQ3-Bassi-MailScanner-3.21-1.pkg
(There is a new version of this being released soon.)

Below is a howto (posted by Bassi earlier) on how to install spam assassin, alternatively you could visit solarspeed.net for a spamassin package. I haven't tried either of these spam assassin installs myself yet, as touch wood I haven't been plagued by spam.

Best,
Kam.

Hi all,

sorry for this message.
I already lurked previous messages, but I didn't find anything too simple for me.

I'm new to RaQ3 and linux in general, so, I need basic advice on adding virus scanners and spam filters to it.

What are the available solution for RaQ3?

I recently loaded succesfully (wow) Openwebmail on the RaQ3.

Thanks in advance for any insight and sorry for this message.

tony
