I've noticed that since my last reboot, the temp on my cpu has just been
climbing consistantly.
This is the latest report from the RaQ3 GUI, the funny part is that it's
had almost no load for the past 8 hours !!
Is an idle temperature of 47 degrees something to worry about ?
When it was rebooted, the temp was down at 41 degrees idle.
</snip>
That is running a little too warm, ours sit about 30oC-35oC in the air-conditioned server room.
I'd suggest you installed a script I wrote a while back that monitors the cpu temp, and if it goes over a certain marker (I have this set at 40 actually) then it emails you, to prevent meltdown!
Follow the link in my sig to the downloads section for the cpumonitor script.

Andy
