[cobalt-users] RAQ4r: Replacing/Formatting Second Hard Drive

Hello -

I have a RAQ4r, and I had some issues where I had to clean install the
system. I went through the process of OS restore successfully. I bought a
third drive which I added during the restore process so I could preserve
the user data from the original install.

The drive worked well,a and then I had another issue that made me suspect a
mis-configuration, so I pulled the third drive.

I worked through the issue (with only one drive in the RAQ). I got errors
that indicated that RAID was not functioning properly (true enough - only
one disk).

So now I want to add the second drive back in. But it has data on it. And
I was afraid of the RAID syncing the wrong drive. So I formatted it in
another Linux box, and cleared all partitions.

I re-installed the drive and when I look at the admin screens I get an
alert that RAID has failed.

In my dmesg log I get the following:

... autorun DONE.

The drive is in the RAQ. It is jumpered correctly, it runs on other linux
boxes. Is there anything I need to do to get it to add correctly?

Any help is much appreciated.
