[cobalt-users] Memory upgrade - any additional steps?

A few posts in the archives cover the hardware issues but I can't find an answer to below.

I have performed memory upgrades on several on our RAQ4's and tbh have not considered any further steps other than installing the
ram itself.

On contacting one host of ours (who shall remain nameless) to request such an upgrade I was informed of the following when I
complained about the extortionate cost quoted.

> "With the RaQ servers, there are other things which need to
> be changed in them to make the ram upgrade actually work
> correctly. This is due to the way cobalt swap file sizes are
> generated"

Is there any truth to this statement?

If so, what adjustments are required? Can they be made over SSH?
