When I posted about selling a machine for $250 over cost - I only did so
figuring that in this industry that was a lot of mark up, and no one would
take me up on it anyway - it was a way to help someone in a jam. Someone
emailed me offline (a friendly message, thanks) saying that people sell
them for more than that ... especially when supporting them. So 2 things -
one, yes, their right, with support there would be no way in the world to
sell for that price; and two, if that $ is a reasonable amount, then my
offer is rescinded. As I said, I don't want to take business from anyone,
at any price. I just don't operate that way, and this is not my business,
electronic medical records are.
My apologies to the list for asking others to post this type of info ... I
guess no one wants it. Other lists I am on allow a one-message introduction
by all members, but I guess it isn't done here. No problem for me ... and I
hope no one took offense at my posts. I love the help I get from this list
and its members, it is the only reason I am on it. For the record - I
purposely did not post the prices I pay, I would never do that to others.
Have a great day,
Jale
