[cobalt-users] Creating a Mirror of Repository of 3rd Party PKGS

I think we need to really look into getting a central location for all the
great 3rd party packages that pkgmasters and Bassi and all the others have
contributed to the list. If bandwidth is an issue why not setup some mirrors
for sharing of the load. I would be happy to provide mirroring on one of our
boxes, and I am sure at least a dozen others would join in, Gerald has items
out there as well as Jeff. Seems as of late we have a lot of people looking
for packages and Help files. Maybe Bruce could add the main site to the sig
file or on the mailman page. The main repository could then list the mirrors
out there. Just a thought. I am sure there are some security issues to be
considered, but all in all maybe it's time to make a community of all the
Cobalt users in a easy to locate area. With the Cobalt ring and other FAQ
and help sites, it really gets confusing to locate things.
