RE: [cobalt-users] good backup and restore solution

I use the FTP backup system for my cobalt raq 4.
At hopme I have a FTP server, the Cobalt log-in daily at my PC and upload the back-up. Now there are 70 domains on it, and a backup file is more than 2 GB big! (it take more than 8 hours!)

I do the option with server configuration files.

I wish that the cobalt server had an option that you can backup only userfiles for all domains...

Hello,

I have looked around legato-Arkeia or Linux based software but they
were very expensive and I prefer script based solutions like.
http://www.neuhaus-internet.de/cobalt/raqbackup/installation/ I tested
it on Raq3I perfect script, except I could not get Mysql (backup)
working yet
You have to understand folders structure of your server. And have FTP
server to collect the backup files
You could also help him to develop his software by using his Paypal
link ...
Best Regards,
