Hi,
I have to overwrite every .ftphelp files on my whole server, because the
Cobalt one is not RFC Compliant .... ;(
( we are behind a CheckPoint Firewall1, that don't accept long ftp-banners )
I tryed many things. Modify the /etc/skel/.ftphelp , but after a while, i
don't know why, the server create the original Cobalt one when creating a
new site ... !? Also if the /etc/skel/.ftphelp is modified.
My modified .ftphelp contain only 2 lines, the one of cobalt contain 20
lines.
Now my question : How can i make to copy my modified /etc/skel/.ftphelp file
on EVERY users's .ftphelp file ???
I have a server with over 300 users, and really don't want to edit every
user with pico ;)
Thanks to show us also the command to preserve the owner and the
permissions.
Best regards
Jean
