It took a full hour to do a 10gig drive in a RaQ3 with 3gig of data on it.
I assume this method copies the entire drive not just areas with Real Data
in them so It will always take an hour for the 10 gig.
My drive was in the 'b' positions - slave on IDE1 as there is no IDE2 on a
basic RaQ3.
Partition Magic and it's little brother, Drive Copy, take only about 20
minutes to do this on a slow ATA66 connection.
Norton Ghost is definitely not trustworthy it seems to lose files from my
RaQ4 not sure why! Never had a problem with PQ Magic except that it doesn't
like the boot kernel (~40mb) partition on the RaQ >> the solution is to run
with the /ipe switches.
