I am guessing that 'admin@' is a special case, so is there a simple way to turn this off?

Not sure where the virtuluser tabel is on the 550
normaly in /etc/mail or just /etc
there will be like
admin@xxxxxxxxxx admin
and sys@domain and others that will end up going to you
you could remove them and then rehash the virstualer table
makemap hash /etc/mail/virtusertable < /etc/mail/virtusertable
But as I say I m not sure on the 550 of the location or
virtusertable
