Hello,
I am having a very strange FTP problem on my RAQ 3. I am in a university and
have a server outside in an office. I can connect to my server fine from any
location outside the university, and I can connect to any other outside FTP
server from the university except my own. I have tried other locations,
computers and clients (WS FTP and the DOS prompt) inside the university and
it still doesn't work. I also asked the tech staff here and they didn't know
of any block. All other services (web, e-mails, telnet) from my RAQ are
fully accessible from the university.
When I try to login as any of my many site admin accounts, it enters the
username and password and fails at:
> 220 ProFTPD 1.2.4 Server (ProFTPD) [IPNUMBER]
> USER greg
>331 Password required for greg.
>PASS (hidden)
>230-

Even stranger I can connect as admin, but of course I can't upload files
from that account.
The closest thing I could find from Cobalt was:

The problem seemed to be slightly difference from mine. If anyone thinks
it's worth a shot, would you tell me the location of .ftphelp? Any other
ideas would be much appreciated.
