Use ../../ as your initial directory in your FTP settings. Linux will
automatically boot you into the corresponding user directory as a
default and precautionary method. I wouldn't change it.

Subject: [cobalt-users] USer FTP RaQ4r
Hi all
When I try to ftp into a site on my machine using any user name this
applies to and the correct password I gain access to the site but only
that users website not to the main site even though I have the user
checked as site admin. As far as the user credentials are concerned it
appears to be root I am ftping using cute ftp pro. How do you gain
access to the main site for ftp.
Any idea where I am going wrong?
Thanks
Richard
