Why not? That's how FTP knows what the user's home directory is.
The other option would be to not set them up as separate virtual sites
but make them all sub-directories of one "master" site and use an
included .conf file. Then you just add the domains as email aliases for
that user's main site and increase all his quotas to match.

Webmaster is the default FP username with the proper password of the
siteadmin.
