The first thing I would check is the ownership of files in /etc/mail
[root mail]# cd /etc/mail
[root mail]# ls -la
Just about everything, except a couple of files owned by "bin" should be
owned by root. If you have any owned by admin you'll need to change
that.
They should also be -rw-r--r--
