If you desire to learn > more on RBL, visit http://www.mail-abuse.org/rbl/. If I were you (and everyone else), I'd avoid MAPS at all costs. There are other systems which do NOT require draconian contracts to be signed. MAPS has been dropped by most major users, and is considered an organization slowly dying on the vine. See http://relays.osirusoft.com/ for a large list of viable services. Also, please search the archives for a long step-by-step posting from me to learn to how add these modifications by modifying your .mc files (cobalt.mc or redhat.mc depending on the machine) instead of directly editing the sendmail.cf file. For all but the most knowledgable of users, modifying this file directly is a _serious_ mistake which can easily cause you to lose sendmail...I'd hate to think anyone used your instructions and blew their sendmail because of a bad line-wrap; the m4 system avoids that problem, and many others.
