Hello,
I've had a look through the list but haven't found this question asked.
It probably has been but I don't know what to search for so please forgive
me if you've heard this one before.
Our company has bought a dedicated hosting service that includes a RaQ4
and a RaQ3. I was dissappointed to see that there was no secure access
to the box (only ftp, http and telnet!). I want to remove the web interface
and install my own copy of apache and ssh from source.
As a general question, am I going to find this an uphill battle or can
you use the colbalts as a general purpose machine? Is there anything
I can't do on the cobalt that I could on a PC with redhat installed?
Are there any 'untouchable' areas or can I treat it like any other linux
host I admin?
thanks,
Mike
