RE: [cobalt-users] raq backup - 2 gig file size limit ??

--------------------
Unless you've specially patched up your kernel 2gig is the maximum size of a
file. First check out whether or not the backup file is corrupt. If you
can't extract the last file or set of file you think you backed up, you
probably are running into the @gig limit. However, you don't have to create
one
backup for each site but you will need to create multiple files so that none
of
them exceeds the 2gig limit. Try creating two files, the first X sites
and then X+1-end sites for the second one. The value of X depends on how big
each site is. A du command can probably help you out.

Is there a way to specify that using the GUI, it seems to me that it is an all or nothing thing. Am I missing something.

All replies are greatly appreciated!!! Backup is a wonderful thing :)
