Subject: [cobalt-users] routing table help
I tried to add 10.80.49.* using the following command. Can someone point
me out what i did wrong or the proper way to do it. thanks so much
[root admin]# /sbin/route add -host 166.84.172.64 -net 10.80.49.*
166.84.172.1 netmask 255.255.255.255 dev eth0
Usage: inet_route [-vF] del {-host|-net} Target [gw Gw] [metric M]
[[dev] If]
inet_route [-vF] add {-host|-net} Target [gw Gw] [metric M]
[netmask N] [mss Mss] [window W] [irtt I]
[mod] [dyn] [reinstate] [[dev] If]
inet_route [-vF] add {-host|-net} Target [metric M] reject
inet_route [-FC] flush NOT aupported

Are net 10 addresses routable over the Internet? Look at RFC1597.
Net 10 is the reserved class A network in the Private Internet
Address space.
