Hello
We upgraded to a Raq4 with all the patches, and added PGK Master's PHP 4.1.2
We have an application called Mambo, it is a content management program. We
have been using it without issue on a Raq3 with PHP 4.1.2. For some reason
on the Raq4 when we go to add content or news, we get the error "did not
execute query" in the administrator section. It works intermittently, maybe
allowing content added 10% of the time, or if we only add a few characters.
We used the same program on the raq3, actually the exact same files and we
moved the DB to the Raq3 also and it works fine. We can surf the web site on
the raq4 no problem, just can't add content. We are currently using the Raq3
to admin the content. Not a good option.
I feel this is something to do with the pkg master php build. I remember
seeing something a long time back about some issues with the php and raq4.
Tried the archives and when I go to click on a link from the post we get the
dreaded missing page. The phpinfo output doesn't show "--with-mysql" but yet
MySQL shows lower on the page, phpmyadmin works as well. Any tips??
If it turns out that the pkg master build is some how messing up the use of
the app, can we install php from source without breaking anything on the
Raq4?
