Jim-

Here are some things to look at - I'm not completely sure I understand
your setup, though.

Paul,
Thank you muchly for your help. I hope this is a template instruction set you have for us newbies and you didn't have to type it all out for me. Sorry if you did, but again, I greatly appreciate your help.

As for not understanding my setup completely, I can offer more info if necessary but it looks like you've given me some homework to work through here. But I should say this, as it may be important: Basically we have a small network of Win2k boxes behind the firewall and another Raq4r (named greenraq.anotherdomain.com) that serves as the Primary DNS for them. I setup DNS with the help from someone no longer in town on it using Webmin. I just checked it and it looks like it automatically added this other Raq (nomecity.org) as another master zone. There's no MX defined under this DNS server, which I'll bet confuses things.

So maybe I should think about using this as the DNS server.. hmmm. Anyway, let me read and work through what you've given me and maybe I'll get it figured. (I've got to leave the office now.) My confusion (well, part of it) is if I have an internal DNS server how it can resolve external domain addresses. Anyway, thanks and later..

Cheers,

Jim D.
