[cobalt-users] Qube3 Online Registration



Hi Guys,

I've just set up a Qube3 Plus and when I went to register it I got an
unexpected screen which states;

> You must register your Sun Cobalt Qube 3 with Sun Microsystems to receive
> technical support. Your network does not seem to be configured for electronic
> registration. Instead, please register your Sun Cobalt Qube 3 by visiting
> http://www.sun.com/service/online and following the links to Sun Cobalt
> Support. We are committed to respecting your privacy and recognize the need
> for appropriate protection and management of personally identifiable
> information you share with us. We urge you to review Sun Microsystems' privacy
> policy at http://www.sun.com/privacy prior to registration of your product to
> understand the steps we take to respect your privacy.

What does it mean that my network is not configured?

I can see the internet and the internet can see my Qube3 (via an appropriate
firewalling device).

Any idea whats changed?

Have Sun simply killed the registration process at their end and then
changed the screen at my end so it looks like its my fault?
