[cobalt-users] Raq 4r losing network connectivity

We've had a Raq 4r in service for about two years now, and within the past
45 days or so it has developed a weird problem. About once a week, it
loses connectivity to our network. It can not be pinged, nor can I connect
to any ports. Unplugging the cable from the network interface and then
plugging it back in clears this condition. We initially thought that the
Ethernet port was bad, so we moved the server's IP over to its secondary
network interface. We allocated a temporary IP to the primary network
interface and left both interfaces connected to our switch (Catalyst
1924-EN). We continued to have the problem. What was odd was that BOTH
interfaces weren't pingable. Unplugging the Ethernet cable and then
plugging it back in fixed the problem. I also moved the machine to
different ports on the switch to no avail.

All suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
