Set up your MX records as you indicate.
Put the domain(s) in
Control Panel -> Email -> Relay for the following Hosts/Domains
Now if officeondsl.domain.com is unreachable
the email will come to your RaQ and queue up.
When officeondsl.domain.com becomes available the RaQ will
relay the email to officeondsl.domain.com
Your RaQ will try to relay for IIRC 4 days.
This can be extended, but that is another topic.
