I have a simple question regarding the email server:

My email has been running perfect since day one. Today I went into my
control panel and found that the check mark next to email server was not
check-marked. I check-marked it and saved it. It did not seem to make any
difference whatsoever.
My question is, did something I installed, remove the check mark?
MailScanner or another program?

Tom: We'll be more helpful if we know more. Here's a few things I would want to know before trying to answer your question: (1) What Cobalt server are you using? It sounds like you might have a Qube, but the "control panels" are different between Qubes and RaQs, and even between the Qube2 and Qube3. (2) What was the exact phrase next to that check mark? There are at least three "servers" which deal with email on most servers, handling SMTP, POP, and IMAP. I can imagine how either POP or IMAP might be unused by you, so you might not see any difference between it being off and it being on.
