Hi,

Just an update, I am not using POP as the primary, I am using IMAP, thus the POP before SMTP doesn't help.

Hi,

I have a virtual domain that I just can not get the client (Outlook Express) to send mail via the virtual domain SMTP address (cname alias). I have added every combination of domain name; mail, www, etc.

Plus, i've tried Login with ID, without, fully qualified, etc. But, I still get relay rejections when I send to non-local users. It can send to a local address(user) so I know the name and SMTP are "ok", but I can not get it to send outside the system. Any ideas??

Is the computer name the same as the userid on the Raq?
I have had the same problem using Outlook express in the past.
Computers with names the same as userid's normally work fine.
