[cobalt-users] openssl - static and dynamic linking <confused now>

Hi all,

I have installed the two new versions of openssl from the homepage, followed 
the standard installation instructions and come to test the version on the 
command line and it still reports the older '.d' version!

Is this due to installing over the top of an existing version?

how do I make sure things like stunnel are using the new version?

I?m a little dispirited now. Any help or answers in layman terms would be 
whole-heartedly appreciated.
