[cobalt-users] Raq4R Reoccurring Reboot Problem

We have a RAQ4R that was freshly rebuilt and been in actual service a very
short period of time. The problem we have been having is two fold as of
late..

After installing a PKG file that prompts for a system reboot if we accept
and let it reboot the system hangs with a blank display on the LCD after
attempting the reboot.

In the past when prompted and if we declined the reboot at that moment after
the PKG file installation but rebooted through the control panel the server
would reboot properly without issue.

Last night we decided to do a reboot as part of a regular schedule
maintenance program and did so by choosing reboot through the control panel.
To our unhappy surprise it hung.. and we did have ability to have physical
access to it for nearly 6 hours which caused us to catch a fair amount of
heat from customers.

Long and short is this.. does anyone have any idea why the system would fail
to reboot normally as every other RAQ does?? The way that we've found to
work around the issue is when we have physical access to select boot from
"ROM" via the LCD when we power the unit up.

While this works as a interim fix.. it is not an acceptable solution 98% of
the time when we don't have physical access.

Any feed back on this will greatly be appreciated..
