[cobalt-users] NASRaQ Won't Boot - Freezes at power-up

I've been debugging this issue for 2 days to no avail.

I have a NasRaq which freezes upon power-up. The LCD display shows nothing
more than blocks. The Ethernet link powers up and there is some Tx/Rx
activity on the link. There also appears to be some initial disk activity
before everything grinds to a halt.

I have tried to connect to the Raq with a Laptop/Hyperterm/Null Modem combo
(VT100 term, 115200 bps and 9600 bps, N-8-1 parity) but there is no
information being sent to the hyperterm.

I took both disks out at put them in a system that booted linux from floppy.
Both disks mounted fine, I was able to traverse the file structures on hda1,
hda3, and hda 4 on both disks. I ran fsck.ext2 with the force option on
both disks and no errors were reported.

I have also tried swapping out the battery and memory.

I have a working restore disk but I obviously can not use it as I can't get
the raq to go in to network boot mode.

I would appreciate any help you can provide. I have run out of ideas and I
am a bit frustrated.

Thanks for your time!
