Objet : [cobalt-users] openwebmail...getting rid of www
There was a post yesterday by someone having trouble following some
openwebmail instructions posted on here. I wanted to change the default
signature and get rid of the "www" on the default "from email address". I
followed the directions in that email and did this:
#####################
I did as follows. (sub "domain" with my real domain name)
copied the openwebmail.conf file and named it the name of my site.
I changed the domainnames line so it reads "domainnames domain.com".
I changed the text within the default_signature tags.
I moved this file to the
/home/openwebmail/cgi-bin/openwebmail/etc/sites.conf directory
#####################
Ok, after doing all this, I was half way successful. The signature line
now
reads what I wanted. Unfortunately the default "from email address" still
contains the www. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Jeremy
