I have a Raq Server with 21 low-trafiic websites. I have noticed that >the
cpu temp ranges between 39 to 44 C.
I would say the possible temp range for a RaQ4 is 30-45c. I would expect it
to avg about 33-39c on a lightly/moderately loaded processor. Fully loaded
CPU should run around 40-42c.
I would suggest that if you are running above 40c when the machine isn't
being used that you may have a fan failure. RaQ fans are notorious for
failing. Either that or your colo doesn't have the A/C on. <grin> You can
get replacements from Sun but they take 20 days to get.
