[cobalt-users] raq4 won't send mail

Hi,
Sorry if this is an old topic but for some reason the
archives only return the number of results and no
actual results!
Anyway, I have been trying to send mail through a user
account, using smtp on the RAQ4, I have pop before
smtp set up etc.
I am using outlook express and the error returned on
send is:

The message could not be sent because the server
rejected the sender's e-mail address. The sender's
e-mail address was 'alan@xxxxxxxxx'. Subject 'who are
you ?', Account: 'alan@headrush', Server:
'www.headru.sh', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '452
space shortage, please try later', Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 452, Error Number:
0x800CCC78


I have checked disk space and just about everything I
can find indicates that there is plenty of space.
The headru.sh account has no mail waiting to be
popped, that all works fine.
I ran TOP and the server is idling with no severe
memory usage or anything out of the ordinary.

I have checked the web log and apart from the usual
jokers trying to find formmail and various M$ dir
locations, there is no problem there.

I checked the mail log (both the /home/sites/home/logs
and the user logs, again nothing unusual.

I checked the mail.cache to see if somehow it had a
huge queue for my account. An interesting thing here
is this :

Now I know that I set up a forward file to allow all
messages from root to go to my headru.sh account. What
I don't get is the last line above. I am assuming that
this is a similar setup, but I don't know who
exchange.administrator@xxxxxxxxxx is. I went to the
domain and it is owned by AOL !
Anyway, this may be irrelevant.

One last point, Although I cannot send mail using
outlook express, using any account on the server,
(including admin) I can use pine when logged in
through ssh. It sends mail with no problems (as
root)but as the headru.sh user, I am getting the same
error as I get with outlook express.
