The appropriate PPD should be provided by the printer manufacturer. Its
optional to specify the PPD in the Qube3 GUI, but if it is it allows the
Apple Desktop Printer Utility to auto-configure and select the correct PPD
(provided its already installed on the Mac).

Thats exactly what I thought, but I'm having a "support" argument with HP at
the moment regarding a HP Laserjet 1200 connected to a Qube3. The
configuration works fine, but if multiple copies are requested, the printer
continues to print multiple copies of all subsequent documents. The fix is
to power cycle the printer. It would appear that the HP supplied USB driver
for MacOS and Windows resets the printer after every print job. The Qube3
does not do this ... hence my problem.
It should be noted that I do not experience this problem on another Qube3
with a Lexmark M410 printer.
The HP response is that the HP Laserjet 1200 is not support on Linux
platforms ... it needs to be connected to a Mac or PC.

Works for me. I can access my Qube3 connected Lexmark M410 via Print Center
on MacOS X v10.1.5 as either an AppleTalk printer or an LPR print queue.
