[cobalt-users] confused

ok, i'm well and truly confused now.

following on from the various discussions of owner/group permissions:
[cobalt-users] Owner error after upgrade,
[cobalt-users] Permissions and Ownership command

i've had a look round my box.
hal my vsites seem to be owned by nobody and half by admin.
is this normal? who should they be owned by?

the /web directory seems to have drwxrwsr-x  as its permissions. what's 's'
on the group field? is this a cobalt thing?
and again half the directories inside /web seem to be owned by nobody and
half by admin.
also, the problem with files being owned by user numbers and not user names
now seems to have cleared up and i haven't done anything!!

is it possible i've been hacked?? i've run chkrootkit but nothing came up.

any help would be much appreciated.
