Subject: [cobalt-users] Problems with date
Hi,
I would like to know why everytime i reboot my Raq4, my server's date gets
messed up.
Kindly Advise
----------------------------
Perhaps because you you have the same
real-time clock hardware that I have on
my Raq3's (;-D)
The real-time clock of the Raq3 is notorious
for doing this sort of thing. Look in the
archive a few weeks back for a posting that
modifies the /etc/rc.d/init.d/crond script to
overcome the problem. Using an ntp server call
even as part of the rc.init script won't solve
the problem if you've got cron jobs.
