I just upgraded to the latest Security patch including that for ProFTP and
my FTP does not work, when I attempt to start it gives me the following
error.
[root@www log]# /usr/sbin/in.proftpd
- AllowChmod is deprecated, and will not work consistantly, use <Limit
SITE_CHMOD> instead.
and the logs shows the following:
Jul 16 20:28:04 www proftpd[1525]: www.worldwide.net - Failed binding to
0.0.0.0, port 21: Address already in use
Jul 16 20:28:04 www proftpd[1525]: www.worldwide.net - Check the ServerType
directive to ensure you are configured correctly.
Does anyone know how to resolve this problem?
Much appreciated!!
Jeremy
