It has been brought to my attention that, someone has questioned my
integrety and suggested that I have been legally dubious in offering the pkg
to install Mailscanner with F Prot.


I would like to make it clear that Frisk the manufacturers of F-Prot are
happy to provide their virus definitions, free to linux users for personal
use.


I have spoken personnally to Mr Weldon Thompson, The Director of Corporate
Relations in Iceland, the home of Frisk, who has asked me to quote his name.

I want to make it perfectly clear that you should not be dishonest and use
my package in a commercial environment.

F-Prot do allow a 30 day free trial for evaluation, and if you are happy
with the product, I would urge commercial users to purchase the product from
Frisk.

(No I don't get any commission)

I would like to add that the Frisk people are very helpful and seem like a
very good company and certainly get my endorsement.


I trust this clarifies the matter and for those kind souls on this list,
that published my earlier Email to another list, looking to provoke a
problem - I would suggest you get a life.

I try and help people and I make no charge, I am not in this for commercial
gain.

Finally I must say, in the light of this pathetic behavior, it really makes
me question, why I should try and help anyone sometimes.

Sorry to the decent people for the rant, but I am really pissed that someone
on this list has caused the suggestion that I am legally dubious.
