RE: [cobalt-users] where are aliases stored

After editing the virtual user table do you do this?

/usr/bin/makemap hash /etc/virtusertable < /etc/virtusertable

this recompiles the table in the berkley db format I think. If you havent been doing this then it might explain why you cant see it. But then again I rarely use the GUI I much prefer the shell.

Does anybody know where cobalt stores the aliases that you see in the
siteadmin control panel in the Email Aliases field. I am not talking
about the virtusertable I know that this is where they are created
when the cobalt GUI runs it's codes to add the aliases for sendmail.
But if that is where they are stored you would be able to change or
add an aliases in the virtusertable and it would change in the GUI
when you reload it. This does not happen. I have looked at the
cobalt code and for the life of me can not figure out where it is
storing this data. I have also looked in the database and it is not
