I'm getting no response to this. Perhaps folks think that it's the proftpd
problem.
But the situation is that ftp keeps shutting down!
I looked in the .conf file and yes it has the AllowChmod on line.
The messages that I read in the archives seemed to be about just getting the
error messages.
But in my case the ftp server seems to be screwing up.
Ideas???
