yeah i see the links when i do the ls -la like i said, i just hate that the directorys are names SITE1, SITE2, etc cause when i'm in one and do a PWD it's showing SITE1, etc and not the domain i'm trying to modify

on my solaris box with virtual hosting, i make the home directory's like

/home/domain1.com
/home/mydomain.com
etc

it's easier to figure out where you are when there like that
Any ideas?

well if you cd /home/sites/www.domain.tld/ then that's what you see on pwd :)

ie:  [admin admin]$ cd /home/sites/www.xxxxxx.net
     [admin www.xxxxxx.net]$ pwd
     /home/sites/www.xxxxxx.net
     [admin www.xxxxxx.net]$

You should also see something like:

www.dom1.com -> /home/sites/site1
www.dom2.com -> /home/sites/site2

Try ls -l to see the full directory and links.

Subject: [cobalt-users] site directory names

when i go to the /home/sites/ directory on my Raq i see the directories
set
up like

site1
site2
site3
etc

with links to them from www.mydomain1.com, etc
i'm still setting up my server and trying to get it optimized for my
use,
and was wondering if there was a way to tell it to name the directory's
something easier than site1, site2, site3, etc,

Thanks

Brian
