Further to my earlier post ... I should have searched the Dantz Support
Forum first ... there is a recent message by Robin Mayoff which states;

(1) Upgrade pricing has not yet been announced. The specifics will be
available on our website as we approach the release.

(2) Users who upgrade will not need to purchase disaster recovery as an
add-on.

(3) Yes, 6.0 will back up Mac OS X Clients.

(4) Yes, 6.0 will add support for some linux flavors. Details will come in a
future announcement.

Robin has worked for Dantz Development since June 1994 ... so I'd assume the
response is authoritative.

WRT the Qube3 ... I've been running the various beta versions of the Linux
Client on a Qube3 since the Qube3 was released ... it has been working very
nicely. However OS Update 6.4 broke it and now it won't start.

If the statement made by Robin can be taken as an "offical announcement" of
the existence of a Linux Client then perhaps we'll be able to sort out what
changed in OS Update 6.4 and has broken the client.

Cheers,  Malcolm
