Can you point me in the direction of "a little more work to run raid"
besides running the osrcd?

No, I don't think you will see teh drive in the GUI

if you want to run raid, you need to do a little more work, or
run a restore with the raq4r OSRCD.

Sorry, I assumed you only wanted the drive for extra disk space.
