Hi all
I have a RAQ4R which I am just setting up prior to co-locating it.
It currently resides on my internal network. I have set up some test
websites to check everything out and all seems well... except, if I try to
log into the raq as ip_adress/admin all is well, if I try to log in as
mydomain.com/siteadmin then the browser window hangs for ever and eventually
reports page cannot be displayed (this is before the password box appears)
The DNS is all configured (all sites will respond, serve pages and respond
on all aliases) and trying to access the .../webmail (from open webmail)or
.../stats (from webalizer) all work fine on all the virtual sites, all sites
also have a single username (which is the domain name) and they have site
admin permission.
Anyone have any thoughts ....?
Also on the subject of not checking the archives, as the first of the two to
ask for a webalizer pkg, I would like to say (now the flames are dying down
;-) ) that I was asking because I could not connect to pkgmaster ... I
assumed this link was no longer valid. I now know that they were moving the
site from server to server!!! So I appologise if I offended anyone by asking
inane questions, but there were mitigating circumstances. I now rest the
case for the defence and hope the jury will come up with a verdict in my
favour.
Just maybe the debate will actually do some good anyway ...
Cheers
Paul.
