Subject: [cobalt-users] Just upgraded patches
I have just upgraded the patches from the Cobalt site with a bit of help
with the users on this list.
Just a couple of questions:
In the list it was mentioned how to check that the Apache update had taken
<snip>
httpd -v
Server version: Apache/1.3.6 (Unix)
Server built: Jun 24 2002 13:43:27
</snip>
Stupid question but I cannot seem to run the http -v command. Where do you
run this from. I have tried various directories and the root to no avail.
Also as I am running Chiliasp 3.60 I have been advised on this list to
upgrade to 3.62 from the Chilisoft web site. How do i get the package onto
my RAQ as it seems I have to download onto my PC and then move it to my RAQ
using SSH. At the file is over 40MB it will probably take 8 hours all
together - only on a normal 56K connection at present :-(
Is there a quick way.
Also once I have installed the pacjage I assume I take the 2 # commands that
I put in the httpd.conf and srm.conf file OFF.
Any comments greatly appreciated
Ray Healy
