We installed coldfusion 5 professional about 6 months ago... It was a
special install for cobalt users, but I don't remember if it was tar,
rpm, or pkg. Now they are offering the MX version, which doesn't look
to have a cobalt install (yet). Our Chilisoft runs fine... we've never
had a problem with either package. Coldfusion has gone down a couple of
times, for no reason - but a simple restart got everything back runnin.
It does run quite a few extra processes, but nothing the raq can't
handle. We have a programmer who requested the install at one point to
write some applications, but now we are slowly switching over to more
php.

How easy is it to install Cold Fusion? What is the cost for Cold Fusion
to
be installed on a raq4? What is involved (upside, downside).
I've had clients request it but have dissuaded them from using it.
Maybe
I'm wrong. I just remember when Cold Fusion first came out and I
preferred
DW for designing and still do. Again maybe I'm wrong.
