Subject: [cobalt-users] using bigger hard disc & boot manager.

Hello all,
I have running Raq3 boxes and most of them start to be full of data.
I
wan't move it to bigger hard disc, but I don't know anything about cobalt's
booting and its booting manager. If I move data how can I write new "lilo"
or
something as system loader?

It would seem to me that you are making the problem
bigger than it need be. What has writing a new loader
got to do with moving to a bigger hard disc?

If I were in your situation I would investigate use
of the Norton tool called ghost. This tool should
allow you to "mirror" your current hard disc to a
larger one, increasing various partitions if you need
to along the way. That way you don't have to know anything
about cobalt booting or booting managers. Worry (if
you must) about a different loader later.

Alternatively you could just use the OS restore CD to
load up your cobalt's OS to a new larger HD. Then of
course you would then also have to deal with restoring
the content of all your virtual sites and all your server
settings.
