[cobalt-users] Note on Logs and the Qube 3

Hi All;

I had a hell of a time over the last month or 2 with my
Qube 3, The dumb thing would lock up for no reason.
Looking at the top command in SSH, I saw this one
process called ParseWebLog.pl running all the time
and sometimes it would run twice, offset from each other.

I think it is used for the GUI stats. well after a number of re-boots
and no help from Customer Support, I desided to use the GUI
and clear the stats.... Well to my supprise the Qube 3 started to
run like it use to.

It appears the Weblogs had gotten so large the poor Qube3 could not
parse it right to the GUI.

Well it appears that there is a little bug in the stats section of the
Qube3.
 Now I will clear it every couple of months... not once a year.

As a side note in the Raq's there is a directory under the root of all the
virtual domains
called logs... they eat up server space in the virtual sites
on a server so a person cold have a 40 meg space, and 30+ megs of logs
and no place to add to a 10 megs of web space....
Best way to fix that, delete all the files in "logs" and you should
have all the space you need or pay for.
