<Check your network.  Are you having problems connecting to other
machines.  Maybe a hub, switch, router got hit.  Maybe cabling got
damaged.  What kind of machine are you connecting from?  Was the main
server you connect to rebooted?  Maybe slower than your machine on reboot?
Reboot the Qube.
Everyone is concerned with surges.  Sometimes more damage can be caused by
a brown out.>

I NEGLECTED (my bad) to mention that I can ping it just fine and the
turnaround seems to be OK... (?)
