get too upset with me. I suppose you've had it brought to your
attention before.
Then I suppose the answer to your comment is that some people want to
use Windows for lots of reasons. For example I still use Windows on the
desktop; I'm beginning to clear up some "issues" that are preventing me
from moving; I'll probably be on a Linux desktop some time in July.
In the meantime, if I've got a file with a linewidth of >= 80
characters, it's easier to edit in in a resizable window than using a
remote connection limited to 80 characters.
