[cobalt-users] [RaQ4r] User mail in vacation directory

Someone reported that they set a vacation reply on Thursday of last
week and when they returned today, they had no mail. I saw in the
aliases file an entry for them as follows:
user: "|/usr/local/sbin/vacation.pl /var/vacation/user.msg
user@domain"
This should read like this:
user: "|/usr/local/sbin/vacation.pl /var/vacation/user.msg
user@domain", \user
The messages were not going to the user's mailbox. However, I did find
a file at /var/vacation/user@xxxxxxxxxx This file is binary, maybe
hashed. I believe the messages are in there, but looks binary (unable
to read). Is there a way to return that file to text?
