Just not true, Paul.

If you were a company with say 20 or more seats, and you were faced with
the decision of having to buy into the new Microsoft terms for keeping
Microsoft Office up-to-date, or buy Sun Star Office at $75 each user,
you might definitely find it worth paying for.  The distribution CDRoms
include systems for Windows as well as Linux.

I would pay for the extra functionality of MS office over star office.



I went to a Linux Users Group (LUGIE) meeting today; we had just such a
presentation from a small company (20 desktops) that just did the ROI
thing and switched to Sun Star Office, saving almost $18,000 over the
next few years.

Good for them... tell me how many problems they have over the next 6 months will you...
